Christian Schmidt from Nurnberg, German flew to Alaska 8.14.06 to deliver Alaska's first PlusOptix S04 Computer Interpreted, Infrared photoscreener. Held by ABCD Research Student Michelle Clausen has just screened previously photoscreen detected (but non-patch acuity missed) anisometropic amblyopic patient Dustin Ramos with the brand-new technology. The PlusOptix S04 is the most recent in an evolving line of photoscreening technology used by and validated by ABCD.
