Some Features a Pediatric eye EMR MUST have: Document and display (report) motility measurements (primary distance, near with correction and without), ductions, head tilt, nystagmus, binocularity, stereopsis) Manifest and cycloplegic refraction, ability to reduce plus in spectacles Document and report sufficient to take patient to OR or present fully to medical specialist colleague. Draw and record /report findings (motility, cornea , lens, retina, external-orbit-lid) Acuity levels for pre-literate patients Ages presented under one year and premi Urgent visits MUST be scheduled in a timely manner. Formatted correctly to allow math on fields such as visual acuity, refraction, ocular alignment. Adequate time to observe the patient during the visit should not be interfered by data entry. |
