Drowning resembles Amblyopia? That sounds serious! But ABCD takes amblyopia detection and treatment seriously. Consider AGE: an infant or toddler need constant attention and PFDs whereas older children who have taken swimming lessons are more on-their-own. CPR brings back many near-drowning cases but not all. High density preschoolers are more dependent on life preservers than those who float easily. If your child's inflatable life preserver pops a hole, you will urgently repair or replace it. ABCD is concerned when medical insurance fails to take seriously amblyopia screening (i.e reimburse photoscreening 99174) and treatment (i.e medically provide amblyopia spectacles).
